o/' ...And the night grows pale... o/'
Well, not really, cos it's midnight and it's quite dark. :)
Hello! This is my official first post. Those two test posts don't count, of course, cos they're just test posts. This is my first, official, spangly post.
Introductions...
I'm Scarlett. Hi! *waves* If you're reading this, you must either be a) bored or b) very bored, because I have no idea how you would have found this unless you searched through Blogger's recently updated blogs or some such! Nevertheless, here's my blog, I hope you enjoy it. :)
o/' ...And the night grows pale... o/' is a lyric from Queen's fantastic "White Queen (As It Began)". If you wanted to know. :)
Now, to business. Here's what you can expect from my blog:
*Silly and amusing thoughts
*Silly and amusing observances
*An occasional bit of serious, deep, philosophical thought
*Ha! I'm just kidding, I'm not going to be deep or philosophical. ;)
*And lots of other stuff!
My most recent silly and amusing thought - did Queen take a break after Hot Space to record a fantastic album, as they said, OR - was it really because John Deacon (the bassist) needed some time off to get some rhythm before they did the Radio Ga Ga video? Really! Watch the We Will Rock You video (circa '78) and take note of his amusing inability to clap coherently! Then, watch the Radio Ga Ga (circa '84) video and be amazed by his newfound ability to clap on cue and without looking like he's having a fit! Well, it's a plausible theory, isn't it? ;) And of course I offer this thought with no mean-spiritedness - you gotta love John Deacon! He's just so endearing and cheek-pinching cute! Even though he can't clap... (o/' ...ooh, poor boy o/') ;)
Cheery bye, Scarlett
