o/' Sheeeeeeeeer - heart attack! o/'

o/' Hey hey hey hey, it was the DNA; hey hey hey hey, that made me this way! o/' Mmm, mmm, mmm, gotta love Sheer Heart Attack (by Queen, who else? :) ), oddly found on News of the World (as opposed to the ultra-fantastic album Sheer Heart Attack!).

Hmm, I feel so in-a-in-a-in-ar---ticulate! All right, I'll stop with the lyrics. But hey (hey hey hey), it's a good song! If you listen to it enough, you feel like your head's gonna explode! No, really! That can also happen, I've found, with The Fairy Feller's Master-Stroke (Queen II) and Liar (Queen). Fun stuff, fun stuff.

Not to be whiny and pathetic, but I'm a bit fed up with those Fanlistings folk who do all the approving and such. I applied ages ago for the album A Night At The Opera (Queen -duh-), then found out that my application wasn't there, and so I had to go through the whole process again. I've got the site done and everything, and am absolutely *aching* to launch it. *hugs ANATO site* Plus I'm waiting for my Paul McGann (*hugs Paul McGann*) fanlisting to actually be *listed*, which would be nice. The Scarf! is another that hasn't been listed, but at least it finally got approved. *hugs approval email* I'm half considering just launching the ANATO site without "approval", but then it wouldn't be recognized by the fanlisting-joining public as a true "fanlisting". Of course, I'd rather not have to go through all this "fanlisting" rigmarole, because I love the subjects that I have fanlistings of and don't feel that I need approval to love them and create sites about them, but the trend is to be "approved" if you decide to have a fanlisting. Even if I were to be daring and say "Here's a fanlisting that's not approved by anyone", which I've seen done before, someone else would apply for the listing on thefanlistings.org or wherever and get approved, and people would join the "approved" listing because if it's approved, it must be better. It's a very clique-ish mentality. What's more, fanlistings claim to be "official fanlistings" of subjects that they don't really have official approval for anyway - at least not from those that count (eg, fanlistings of celebrities, songs, and movies don't have approval from the celebrity, songwriter, or production company in question, do they? So it's not official.) I personally wouldn't dare to say that any of my fanlisting sites are official, because it would be a lie. Still, I'd like for my applied-for fanlistings to be recognized, despite my dislike of the, as mentioned before, rigmarole. (I like that word.) I understand that the fanlistings approval people have a lot of forms to process, and that they have lives too, but really... this is just getting absurd!

Quite fitting that I'm listening to My Melancholy Blues while typing up this rant.

Ooooooooooooh! My first blog rant! This calls for a celebration! And festive hats!

Cheery bye, Scarlett

BTW, as I went back through to edit my rant, Fight From the Inside started playing (NOTW is on shuffle on my CD player :) ). Started feeling a bit rebellious then! ;)

BTW again - Queen during the Bo Rhap vid filming!

Cheery bye (again)!

Scarlett (of lunaestas.com)'s weblog. A silly blog with no deep thoughts or "musings." I just post thoughts and observances that amuse me, and I hope will amuse someone else! :) (Fastidious & Precise - a lyric from Queen's song Killer Queen. No, the lyric has nothing to do with anything, I just thought it sounded nifty!)
