o/' You are mine, I posess you, belong to you forever-ever-ever - ahhh! o/'
//So sorry I didn't post yesterday! I'll not let that happen again - I shall be sure to post *every day*!//
Seven Seas of Rhye. I have absolutely no idea why I love this song so much. Probably due to memories associated with it, actually. You see, I had the flu for two weeks this past February. It was an awful sort of flu that left your head feeling like... well, really bad. The second week was when the stomach flu bit kicked in, which wasn't fun at all, but the week before, with all the congestion and coughing and sneezing - now *that* was fun. Every morning I'd wake up and sneeze a bit, then sit down in front of my computer and cough, and then I'd do sod all! It was so great! I worked on website stuff and graphics, but the two high points were:
1) I, in a moment of genius, I decided I should pop in the Queen Greatest Hits CD my mom said that I should give a listen to. Completely out of the blue, I decided to listen to that fantastic album, and - true story - it was the only thing I listened to for that *whole two weeks*. Certain songs that I listened to more than others seem to, when I listen to them now, conjure up memories of the scent of this horrible Vicks humidifier thingy that was constantly on in my room for the duration of those two weeks. Ew. But I still love the songs!
2) On Glitter's Cap-Page Board, for Capper Crush Month (February, Valentine's Day - geddit?), Pirates of the Caribbean was loaded and ready for capping. If I hadn't felt like I had a vice about my head, I would have done a happy dance. Instead, I simply set about capping it! From now on, I shall always associate Queen music with POTC captioning. What a lovely combination!! :D
I decided, after I graduated, that those two weeks was the high point of the *year*. I know, I'm terribly sad. Considering I saw Sarah Brightman in concert this year, that decision is *extremely*, *extremely* sad. But hey, I had fun. And Sarah Brightman made me break out in hives.
...
No, really, I broke out in hives after the concert. Or during it, I dunno, but when we got back to the hotel, lo and behold, my hands had hives! I was so excited that I broke out in hives! That's just how spiffy Sarah Brightman is!
Really, it's not meant as a backhanded insult. I was so excited about it, I got hives. Go figure.
o/' Fat bottomed girls, you make the *rockin'* world go round... o/'
I'll leave you with that deep statement to ponder. ;)
Cheery bye, Scarlett
