o/' You call me sweet like I'm some kind of *cheese*! o/'

:) From Sweet Lady on Queen's A Night At The Opera. A fantastic lyric! :D

Again, nothing much to say... I browsed various cliques and fanlistings, but that's not very interesting to talk about. :)

*twiddles thumbs* I'm sorry I'm so boring at the moment... I haven't thought of anything amusing to post, nor have I had a particularly amusing day. Merely a "bleh" day. Which is, of course, better than a "blah" day, but still... :/

If you were wondering, I'm still sure that Tie Your Mother Down has HEALING POWERS!. Seven Seas of Rhye, too. I know, I know, this is silly and not everyone knows what I'm talking about (unfortunately, not everyone is a Queen fan and therefore probably don't know what in the world I'm on about!), but hey, it's a funny running joke sort of thing, isn't it? *ahem* Isn't it?! ;)

Ooh, here's a bit of fun... out of curiosity, I went to see if grades were still online at my (former) high school's website, and they were, and I was extremely surprised to see that they were, in fact, still online! What's even more surprising is what I found, because I hadn't bothered checking my grades towards the end of school, because heck, I was graduating and I had been accepted to my top choice college and I knew I had good grades. But I had wondered what grade I got on my final assignment in my English class, and lo and behold, I got a 100%. Now let me explain why this is really neat:

I had an abbreviated schedule, which means that I came into school a few classes into the day. I got there on time on the day of my presentation, but the school had fiddled with the schedule because goodness know why, and so technically I was late. Blah. So, I had to get a late pass, then had to high-tail it to my English classroom to see if I had time to present. I barreled into the classroom and ... oh wait, I forgot one bit. My teacher had told us not to be absent on our presentation day because it would mess his schedule up, and heaven forbid we should do *that*! He's a scary sort of fellow, but decent enough. But scary. So I didn't want to feel his wrath, and that's why I was rushing to class to squeeze in my presentation.

So as I was saying, I barreled into the classroom, threw my books down, pulled out my floppy disk and notepaper and skidded up to the teacher and might as well have said "I'm going to present now, and you're not going to tell me we don't have time, because no one informed me that the sodding school was going to mess up the schedule, and how was I supposed to know to ask? I'm presenting NOW!!". But no, I was my polite self and asked if I could still present and he said yep, and so I sped through the presentation. It was about censorship and Gone With the Wind (the book), and I just whipped through my notes and facts at breakneck pace. I got a nice round of applause, though. :D

...

Hmm. I wrote more than I thought I would tonight. :)

Cheery bye, Scarlett

Scarlett (of lunaestas.com)'s weblog. A silly blog with no deep thoughts or "musings." I just post thoughts and observances that amuse me, and I hope will amuse someone else! :) (Fastidious & Precise - a lyric from Queen's song Killer Queen. No, the lyric has nothing to do with anything, I just thought it sounded nifty!)
