What I need right now is a *Fantastic Drowse*...
Mmm, Drowse! Lovely, hypnotic song from A Day At The Races. Need I mention that it's a Queen album? ;) And I really do need a bit of a drowse - got to get to bed soon or else I'll be half-dead tomorrow! :)
Let's see... well, I haven't done anything interesting today, except... well, I did watch We Will Rock You, which was fun! I was sad when it ended - I felt like I was actually there and probably would have applauded, but I was just sane enough to realize that (*d'oh!*) it's on TV. DVD, to be (fastidious and) precise. ;) (Tee hee!)
I was browsing Queen sites online and came across a clever twist on... the Bible? Yep. The Holy Queeble is delightfully blasphemous and has a very Monty Python-ish vibe to it! A bit off-color at times, perhaps, but the idea of Freddie Mercury, Brian May, Roger Taylor, and John "Always Listed Last" Deacon as the creators of the universe is surely pure genius. Hmm?
Fangirl-type stuff ahead - proceed with caution... (d'you know, my dad reads my blog - I do hope that he doesn't read this and think "Oh 'eck, what's all this about then? She likes *him*? Wait -- she *likes* people?" I think I'm probably still about 4 years old in his mind. :) Probably because I have the maturity of a toddler! ;) And no, he doesn't actually talk (or think, I suppose) like that, but you get the gist!) --
It may come as somewhat of a surprise to you that, in fact, I rather fancy 70s Freddie Mercury. How could you have ever guessed that? ;) The Queenishness of lunaestas.com and F&P (Fastidious & Precise, of course!) couldn't ever have been a clue, could it? ;) ;) I found this fantastic picture of Freddie Mercury while perusing the web. (Why is it that I never refer to famous people by their first names in this blog? I just can't fathom simply referring to Freddie Mercury (there I go again!) as "Freddie".) Anyways... it's a lovely photo that I drooled at for a few minutes until I was distracted by a shiny object... That does tend to happen. ;) There's another pic that I had already seen ages ago, saved to my hard drive, and drooled over, at that same site. Why not take a look? :) Just thought I'd share this with ya. ;)

Oh yes! I had an epiphany yesterday! No, really! I was listening to Tie Your Mother Down and was feeling a bit down, and then that guitar started up - you know, after the intro and then the "derderDERderderderDERderderderDERderderder-der-der-der-der..." guitar plays? Don't you just love how I verbalize guitar playing? :) Anyway, that bit started, and I just grinned for no reason at all except for the fact that it sounded *good*. It was then that I had my epiphany! Tie Your Mother Down has healing powers!! That's why, whenever I listen to it, I feel happy! *Healing powers*!! Of course, any Queen song makes me feel happy, but TYMD seems to have some special.........
HEALING POWERS!
In other news... erm, I suppose that there isn't really any other news. Um...
Pig doots.
And that's all for now!
Cheery bye, Scarlett
PS - Seven Seas Of Rhye also has
HEALING POWERS!
