o/' It's late, it's late, but not too late... o/'

Ah, that's such a lovely song...

Anyways - as I assumed would happen, I scrapped the idea of skinning my Sarah Brightman site, because it's just too confusing for me at the moment. I did, however, come up with a similar alternative (you can choose your layout, but there are no cookies involved) using SSI, CSS, headers & footers, an Iframe, and dynamic javascript. I'm working on getting the bugs and glitches out, but so far, everything seems to work at the most basic level, which is good. Now I've just go to make sure everything displays correctly and that all the images are properly uploaded. When I've finished with all that, I'll launch the main index, and I'll breath a huge sigh of relief. :)

I'm toying with the idea of starting a Photoshop brush site, where you can download brush sets. I've created a bunch (technical term) of brushes for myself to use when I'm working on images, but don't know if I'll ever get to putting them online... Before I start any new sites though, I need to finish the SB site work!

My Doctor Who site is next up for an overhaul. I'll be using a combo of SSI, CSS and PHP stuff. I think. I had it all planned out, and now I can't quite work out what it was I was going to do... Wait! No! Not SSI, just CSS and PHP. OK. I'll be using headers and footers, but no SSI. Phew. Glad I figured that out. And I'm also glad that I've typed it out because if I forget again I can just look back through my blog. ;)

My poor Who site... it looks like pig doots right now. Don't worry, little Who site, I'll fix you up! Ah geez, I'm talking to a website. In a blog post. I am supremely pathetic.

Ho hum.

Watched some of the Wembley DVD extras last night - the "John cam" was hilarious! I love how good ol' Deaky would sing along every once in awhile to Under Pressure (he would just mouth the words, not actually sing into the microphone), like he was really gettin' into the music. :D Gotta love the Deaky! And his little Deaky dances and hops that he does - so, so funny, yet endearing, because you KNOW that if you were up on stage with Queen you'd be bouncing around too. ;) In my case, I'd be running around like a chicken with its head cut off, bumping into random band members, until I'd eventually pass out. ;)

Cheery bye, Scarlett

Scarlett (of lunaestas.com)'s weblog. A silly blog with no deep thoughts or "musings." I just post thoughts and observances that amuse me, and I hope will amuse someone else! :) (Fastidious & Precise - a lyric from Queen's song Killer Queen. No, the lyric has nothing to do with anything, I just thought it sounded nifty!)
