Hitchhiker's, Kylie, and Peter Cook
Just a quick post to enlighten the... er, unenlightened... hmm. Anyways. It hit me that the probability that someone reading my blog should have any idea what I was talking about with The Journey of the Sorcerer (correct spelling! I made a mistake in the previous post!) was somewhere in the vicinity of two to the power of two hundred and sixty-seven thousand seven hundred and nine to one against. (Hitchhiker's joke... kind of... not very funny even if you're a fan... in fact, probably more sad than funny... ;) )
Anyways, I made a short clip of Journey of the Sorcerer for anyone interested in hearing its magnificence; and being a total anorak I also recorded the theme song used on both the opening credits and closing credits (because there is a difference in the two songs) of the H2G2 BBC TV series from the DVD.
I must get the movie soundtrack... looked for it in my favorite CD store today; alas, there was a distinct lack of Hitchhiker's. Sad. Although I did pick up a tremendously cheesy "Greatest Remix Hits" double CD of Kylie Minogue's early, er, remix... hits... which completes my collection of the four "Greatest Remix Hits" CDs that were released, which is also a bit sad. But the cheesiness is so much *fun*! :)
Cheery bye, Scarlett
Listening to: The Ballad of Spotty Muldoon (Peter Cook) (No, really) (I love how Peter Cook can't sing, but sings badly so well. ... ... Well, it makes sense to me.)
Currently amused by: The Ballad of Spotty Muldoon (You can download it at The Establishment, a Peter Cook shrine. It's heaven over there. :)
