My Ofra Haza "history"
I first heard of Ofra Haza on a Sarah
Brightman-related website, FPWeb [See more links]. I read
about Frank Peterson's work with Ofra Haza and was very intrigued by the review of
her album Ofra Haza '97, but I had yet to fall under her
spell! Then Sarah Brightman released Harem, with guest
vocals by Ofra Haza on the track Mysterious Days. Well, I loved the
song, and I was enchanted by the gorgeous vocals by Ofra. When I
found Ofra Haza '97 at a local CD store, I decided I just had to
buy it. Long story short (too late!), I've
been a fan ever since. :) My favorite albums are Ofra Haza
'97, Kirya, and Desert Wind (but I love her folk albums too!).
