My Sinéad O'Connor "history"

Before I discovered her music, I knew of Sinéad O'Connor only through the pop culture lexicon as a troubled, controversial singer. I first heard her as a guest vocalist on Natacha Atlas' song "Simple Heart" from her album Something Dangerous. I was impressed by O'Connor's strong, but at the same time delicate, vocals. It wasn't until I heard "Never Get Old" from The Lion And The Cobra that I realized I had to hear more of this amazing artist! I found the song on an Enya site (Enya contributed spoken-word vocals to the track) and was blown away by O'Connor's voice. It was just... wow. Since then, I've managed to collect almost all of her musical catalogue and yet I'm still always blown away by her magnificent voice.
